The Crafts and Social Development Organization (CSDO), Imphal, Manipur is organizing a Manipur Handicrafts Expo beginning from December 26 to January 04. This expo is being organised under the patronage of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), under the Ministry of Textiles.Manipur has a rich handicraft tradition going back by centuries. Handicraft products like terracotta, potteries, cane and bamboo items and artistic and attractive textiles amongst many other items made by the rural artisans will be on display.
Craftsmen will be at hand, who will provide live demonstration in making the different handicraft products.
