Lamka, Jan 14 : Four students from Churachandpur`s Tawna College represented the state in the recently concluded 16th National Children`s Science Congress held at the Livingstone Foundation School in Dimapur, Nagaland.
The congress, held from December 27 to 31, was hosted by the National Institute of Health Environment and Social Welfare and was formally inaugurated by the former President APJ Abdul Kalam.
The conference which was participated by 10 child scientists of the state was sponsored by the Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyagiki Sanchar Parishad, department of science and technology, government of India.
576 child scientists of the country participated in the conference and interacted with students drawn from the north east in the presence of APJ Abdul Kalam.
The students team from Churachandpur consisting of students submitted a project on "Traffic survey in Churachandpur town, Manipur".
