Young Horizon is 3 yr-old

Imphal, January 31 : The existence of Young Horizon, a body formed with an objective to bring all communities settling in the north eastern region of the country and had successfully conducted a rally to spread the massage of peace and co-existence has completed three year today.

The day was observed as 3rd foundation day today with chief advisor of the MNF Moirangthem Noadalenkhomba as chief guest.

The president of the Young Horizon Thokchom Rantan presided the function which chief advisor of the Young Horizon, North East India Mutum Churamani as guest of honour.

Social worker Lancha Ningthouja also attended as resource person in the function.

While giving key note address of the function, general secretary, Young Horizon, Manipur L Romen said in the present day Manipuri society good things seems to be dominated by bad.

Men in this society have loss its good characters.

The discipline which is to be maintained between a son and parent is also vanishing day by day.

Leaders of the people and politicians are all dip into corruption.

A politician is considered to be a corruptor.

People have no fate on them.

Conditions of the government run schools are worsening day by day.

Confident among the people has lost.

Idle men who want to become rich man with labour mushrooming up.

Most of the people want to become rich man with illegally earn income, he said.

The idea of living with the money invested by the central government has become talks of the people.

"Will we the youngster should remain silent when the society reach in such condition, he asked.

The chief guest Nou dalenkhomba while speaking to the function recalled the successful conduct of the peace rally by the Young Horizon in recent time and lauded it as an excellent work for bringing peace in the region.

He also expressed that the present education system in the state is full of defect and concern education department could not give the true meaning of education to the students.

Most of the teachers are not well educated, they lack reading habit and as such could not motivate the students.

Many good teachers also loss interest as compelled by the prevailing atmosphere of the society, he said while calling the people to bring a reform in the society.

Churamani who graced the function as guest of honour also expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of the society and blamed that the prevailing social condition could not create a working atmosphere.
