Counting venues for Outer Manipur polls announced

IMPHAL, May 1 : The date, time and place for counting for the different Assembly segments of the Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary constituency have been announced by the office of the returning officer of the constituency.

The counting for Heirok, Wangjing Tentha, Khangabok, Wabagai, Kakching, Hiyanglam and Sugnu Assembly constituencies will be held at the counting hall of the DC/DEO office complex at Thoubal on May 16 at 8 am.

For Jiribam the counting will be held at the same time and day at the ADC office Jiribam.

For Chandel and Tengnoupal the counting will be held at the same time and day at the DRDA Training Hall at the DC Office Complex at Chandel.

For Phungyar, Ukhrul and Chingai the counting will be held at Mini Secretariat building, DC office Ukhrul at the same time and day.

For Saikul the counting will be held at the district council hall, Kangpokpi at 8 am on May 16.

For Karong, Mao and Tadubi the counting will be held at the Community Hall, Senapati at 8 am on May 16.

For Kangpokpi and Saitu the counting will be done at District Council Hall, Kangpokpi at the same time and day.

For Tamei, Tamenglong, Nungba the counting will be held at the Indoor Stadium Hall, Lower Ground, Tamenglong on the same day and time.

For Tipaimukh, Thanlon, Henglep, Churachandpur, Saikot and Singhat the counting will be held at the IRB Barrack Hall (Adjoining New DRDA building), Mini Secretariat Complex, Churachandpur at 8 am on May 16.

The postal ballots of the entire constituency will be counted and the results of the poll at all the polling stations will be consolidated at the Counting Hall of the DC/DEO`s office complex at Thoubal on May 16 at 8 am.
