IMPHAL, Feb 13 : A short film `Cease baby`s whimpering cry` produced by the Mayum Networks has been selected for the Indian Festival of Features and Non-features` for the John Abraham National Awards to be held from February 12 to 19, 2009 at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.
The film is based on how poverty affects child rights and the impact of poverty on the children of rural areas of Manipur.
The festival is one of the most prestigious festivals for short and documentary films organised by the Federation of Film Societies of India, FFSI.
The producer of the film is Lokananda Mm, story is by Dr. Dhanabir Laishram and direction is by Romi Meitei while the cinematographer is L Radhamohon and the editor RK Denny.
