Imphal , Jan 10 The five-day Gan-ngai', biggest harvesting festival of Zeliangrong community in Manipur, began here yesterday with state health minister Ph. Parijat calling for unity among different communities.
The main function of the festival was organised at Iboyaima Suman Lila hall here last evening by the state level&aposGan-ngai&aposcelebration committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Parijat said he was happy to learn that both people from hill and valley were participating in the festival which showed that there was unity among different communities in the state.
