Imphal : A villager identified as Jampao Kuki was injured when a powerful bomb exploded at interior border village T Minou in Chandel district of Manipur, official sources said on Thursday.
Sources said the bomb exploded at a place near the village, about 125 Kms south-east of here, bordering with Myanmar on Wednesday.
It was not known whether the bomb was planted at a roadside or kept at a place near the village, sources said adding that identities of the persons involved in the incident were also not known.
The injured was taken to Regional Institute of Medical Science and Hospital here , sources said.
